After completing this tutorial you will have the knowledge to apply formulas in catia in order to make a complete parametric model. In this tutorial we will add these four formulas mention in the bellow design table. When ever we will change the bolt’s diameter then the rest parameters will update automatically.

Step – 1:

Make a hexagonal nut using the standard given bellow. Take the bolt Diameter  24mm.because I will take 24mm as bolt diameter  or download this model which I have done previously. Prefer to download this model or make a bolt by following my first tutorial. I will use this nut throughout this tutorial.

Step – 2:

In this step we will add a formula. There are different approch to add formulas. I am discussing about the very common approch .



After using this command all the parameters will visible.
