Phase 3.Set up the views in catia v5:

Now you are in default isometric view   and see the direction of X and y
Now decide exactly in which direction you want your front of the car. I would like to prefer x axis to be my front view.

Step15-

                              
It is a good practice to use axis system. Use the default setups.

Step16-
  select the XY plane . And now you in sketcher work branch. See the compass on top rite corner.
